Perry, Phyllis J.

Phyllis J. Perry is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She received her master’s degree from San Francisco State College and her doctorate from the University of Colorado, Boulder. After serving in the Boulder Valley Public Schools as a teacher, curriculum specialist, principal, and director of Talented & Gifted Education, Phyllis retired early to write full-time for children and adults. She has published more than seventy books, including A Kid’s Look at Colorado (Fulcrum Publishing, 2005) and the award-winning It Happened in Rocky Mountain National Park (TwoDot Publishing, 2008). She and her husband live in Boulder.
