Attig, John W.
John Attig is an emeritus professor of geology with the University of Wisconsin-Extension. For 32 years, he was a research geologist at the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey. His research on glacial processes and the evolution of glacial landscapes has taken him to Antarctica, Scandinavia, and many parts of North America, including Alaska. John has also published extensively on the glacial geology of Wisconsin, and is co-author of Roadside Geology of Wisconsin.
