Lamar, Sharon

Sharon Lamar’s career as an educator has spanned more than three decades, and she has taught students at every grade level from preschool to college. Her two previous children’s books, Montana Moonshadows: A Trek in the Swan Valley Forest and Mountain Wildflowers for Young Explorers: An A to Z Guide, reflect her passioned belief in enriching elementary science education through outdoor investigations, allowing children to connect with nature. As a watercolor artist, Sharon finds inspiration in Montana’s towering mountains, dazzling wildflowers, and diverse wildlife. She and her husband, Steve, also an author, make their home in Swan Valley, Montana.
