Don Frazier
From age six to nineteen Don Frazier was a full time working cowboy, or to be more accurate, a horseboy on a two hundred thousand acre horse ranch. The ranch was fifty miles from the nearest town, Sparks, in the same northern Nevada range country where Will James did much of his big ranch cowboying; hence Frazier's commentaries on James's wonderful drawings, writings, and stories are from personal experience.
Don Frazier has been a jockey, a rancher, a businessman, an antiquarian bookman, and a CEO of four indestry trade groups. His interests range from skiing and tennis to archeology and writing. He lives winters in Arizona and summers in New Jersey and can be hard to find in any one place on short notice.
